7-Eleven’s own brand 7CAFÉ has made further commitment towards sustainability by introducing 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified Arabica coffee beans with fully biodegradable paper cups and lids.
Starting from 26 October, the 7CAFÉ network of over 600 stores have rolled out 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified Arabica coffee beans, and paper cups and lids made from greener, more environmentally friendly materials.
All coffee beans at 7CAFÉ are premium beans sustainably sourced from coffee farms that are fully certified by the Rainforest Alliance in Brazil, Honduras, and Indonesia. The beans are then freshly roasted in Hong Kong with a unique “Fully City” coffee roasting technology, ringing of full, rich nutty-like almond and herbaceous notes, savouring a delicate flavour and ending with a smoky sweetness aftertaste.

FSC certification makes sure that trees that are used to produce papers are grown on plantations which do not end up in deforestation, in an effort to preserve the biodiversity and ecosystem of the forest and reduce carbon footprint.
To live up to its commitment "Good Coffee. Now Greener", 7CAFÉ will continue to look for ways to be more sustainable and enable its customers to enjoy a cup of great tasting coffee that makes a difference, including introducing 7CAFÉ’s oat milk coffee, which is available until 8 November. It is made with oat milk from the Swedish brand OATLY, the production of which emits lower greenhouse gases than conventional dairy milk so is kinder to the planet.
On the other hand, 7CAFÉ has also launched a new「7CAFÉ 啡常好樹」(“7CAFÉ BREW-tiful Tree”) minisite on 26 October, featuring six popular local illustrators including Cuson Lo, 草日漫畫 (Chao Yat), 東尼電機 (Tony Electronic), DDED, A ee mi and cheeky cheeky 厚面子, who have created a collection of heart-warming illustrations to cheer up our customers and the planet.
