100PLUS Malaysia picks new agency for digital and social

Isotonic beverage brand 100PLUS Malaysia has picked IPG's Mediabrands Content Studios (MBCS) as its new digital and social agency of record following a pitch process. The appointment will commence in October 2024.
The appointment of MBCS sees the agency running full service digital campaigns and providing alongside always-on social media management for 100PLUS, it said in a statement.

“We awarded MBCS with this assignment as they demonstrated to us their deep understanding of social media behaviors within the beverage segment," said Leong Wai Yin, marketing director of F&N Beverages Marketing.
"It has also demonstrated a keen content creator mindset that falls in line with the vision we have for our brand. We're excited to begin collaborating with MBCS on upcoming campaigns that will bring excitement and new perspectives to our existing loyal consumers, while also attracting new ones," Leong added.
“Working on this truly exciting brand within the isotonic drink market is a challenge we’re eager to tackle. We aim to transcend its sports association, making it a top-of-mind essential for everyday use," said Stanley Clement, chief executive officer of MBCS.
“The team is thrilled to be a part of the brand's vision to continue promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, innovate, and inspire,” Clement added.
This comes shortly after 100PLUS Malaysia picked Havas as its new creative lead agency. As part of the remit, Havas Malaysia now oversees all of 100PLUS’ brand strategy and creativity which cuts across thematic and seasonal campaigns throughout 2024 and 2025.
