Zurich Insurance Hong Kong (Zurich) has unveiled a localised campaign as part of its global ad campaign launched last year, which aims to enhance brand awareness and consideration among its Hong Kong audience.

Running until end of March, the localised "Range campaign" is part of a global, purpose-led brand advertising campaign highlighting the positive and forward-thinking spirit of ‘What Can Go Right?’, aiming to raise public awareness of the brand's range of products available across general and life insurance.

Done in collaboration with digital marketing agency MTAG, Zurich Hong Kong localised the campaign video with local language and invited local artist Sammy Leung to be the voice-over talent so as to build better connection with the Hong Kong audience. The localised campaign features video ads for five key insurance products available in Hong Kong, which are motor, home, travel, life and business products. The video ad also features scenarios including people moving into a new flat, setting up a business for the first time, driving a newly purchase car, having a baby, highlighting their range of insurance products.

In terms of medium of promotion, Zurich Hong Kong told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that the brand video campaign is extensively aired across multiple channels including social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube; online targeted platforms on travel, motor and home; and out-of-home advertising on SOGO jumbo TV.

“Zurich is a global insurance company with a long-standing history, providing a diverse portfolio of high-quality general and life insurance products designed for individuals and businesses. The Range campaign aims to enhance brand awareness and consideration among our Hong Kong audience, showcasing our global expertise and strong brand reputation,” said Jim Qin, chief executive officer, general insurance.

Back in 2020, Zurich Hong Kong has offered HK$1.1 million to Pok Oi Hospital to support children and the elderly hit by the knock-on effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donation has been part of establishing the #MoveForward COVID-19 Support Programme, which aims at providing support to children and elderly in low-income "grassroots families" who have been especially affected during the crisis. The support programme will connect the community by launching services across 11 children and family services centres and offer 10 daycare centres for the elderly under Pok Oi Hospital. In total it is expected to benefit 5,000 people.
