Zuellig Pharma acquires Philippines' multivitamin brand Propan

Zuellig Pharma, a Singapore-based healthcare solutions provider, has completed the acquisition of multivitamin brand Propan from ADP Pharma Corporation in the Philippines.

Since 2018, Zuellig Pharma has managed the commercialisation and distribution of Propan, which offers a range of health solutions, including prescription capsules and pediatric syrups, tailored to meet the needs of various age groups.

Zuellig Pharma said that the acquisition strengthens its position in the consumer healthcare market while underscoring its commitment to delivering accessible and high-quality healthcare solutions.

"This acquisition also reinforces our commitment to the Philippines market and enhances our ability to serve the evolving needs of consumers," Zuellig Pharma CEO John Graham added in a statement.

Meanwhile, Martin Pascual, President and CEO of ADP Pharma Corporation, said the transaction will enable his company to build high-potential brands and strengthen its financial position. As of currently, Zuellig Pharma operates in 17 markets, serving more than 200,000 medical facilities and partnering with over 450 clients.

According to Statista, the vitamins and minerals market in the Philippines is projected to generate revenue of US$620 million by 2025, with an anticipated compound annual growth rate of 9.46% through 2029.
