ZALORA Group's marketing director Kiriat Argenio (pictured) has left her role after more than six years with the company. ZALORA's spokesperson confirmed the move to Marketing, adding that it is in the process of looking for her replacement. Argenio was based in Kuala Lumpur and reported to director of growth Jo Bjordal.
The spokesperson added that Argenio successfully built a strong marketing team in Malaysia, and played a key role in the success of ZALORA today. She has also co-led some of its biggest initiatives in the country including ZALORAYA, the company's Hari Raya collection. According to her LinkedIn, she joined ZALORA in 2013 as a business developer intern. Prior to that, she was a consultant intern at Societe Generale Securities Services in Italy.
Earlier this year, the company named former MD of its cluster market comprising Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei, Hong Kong and Taiwan, Rostin Javadi, to the role of COO. He is currently based in Malaysia and manages ZALORA’s operations ranging from content production for the website and warehousing and logistics, to customer service and payment security. Meanwhile in September last year, ZALORA brought on board Elias Pour as CMO, leading a team of approximately 150 individuals, overseeing the full marketing operations across Asia Pacific.
