ZA Bank promotes stock giveaway campaign with OOH advertising

ZA Bank has unveiled a new campaign to democratise stock investments for everyone, alongside a range of outdoor advertising placements, including LED walls, billboards, and bus shelters.
Available until 22 November, the “Magnificent 7 US stocks giveaway” (ZA Bank送美股7巨頭) campaign is a collaboration with creative agency The Bread Digital, targeting the mass public.
In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Calvin Ng, alternate chief executive, ZA Bank, said that the campaign is designed to democratise stock investments for all. The “Magnificent 7” includes some of the most influential tech giants, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, NVIDIA, Meta, and Tesla.
“At ZA Bank, we believe that investing in these companies should be an accessible reality, not a distant dream. Users can now receive popular US tech stocks for free simply by opening a capsule in our app, so even an amateur investor can get a taste of US stock trading first-hand at no cost and with minimal risks,” Ng said.
“This initiative is yet another demonstration of our firm belief in the power of word-of-mouth marketing—when users enjoy the experience, they become the best ambassadors we can ask for,” he added.
As part of the campaign, all ZA Bank users can draw a free US stock redemption coupon worth up to US$288 through ZA Quest in the ZA Bank App. This offer is available from now until 22 November and can be redeemed for seven US stocks. The coupon can only be used by users who have activated the US stock trading service.
To maximise brand visibility and impact, the campaign has implemented out-of-home (OOH) advertising across LED walls, billboards, and bus shelters in high-traffic areas.
The LED wall on Russell Street in Causeway Bay will be up until 9 November, while the billboard between Great George Street (記利佐治街) and Paterson Street (百德新街) in Causeway Bay will be available until 10 November. Additionally, the bus shelter advertisements will be featured at 40 locations across Hong Kong Island, including Central, Causeway Bay and Wan Chai, and will be available until 14 November.

Recently, ZA Bank collaborated with Chinese eCommerce platform JD.com to celebrate the November shopping spree with an array of mega deals, bringing a fresh experience to users.
From now until 30 November, users can register as JD.com users and spend with ZA Card to enjoy the following ZA Bank x JD.com special offers. In addition to stackable discounts on hot-selling items on JD.com’s Hong Kong and Macau platforms, users will get free shipping on 10 kg for orders over ¥299.
