yuu Rewards Club, a coalition loyalty programme by minden.ai, is inviting the nation to sing Happy Birthday in celebration of its first birthday in Singapore and offering up a multitude of treats in tandem.

To celebrate its birthday, yuu launched an interactive out-of-home, voice-activated installation titled “You sing, yuu rewards” together with Tribal Singapore. The installation, which is set to run from 5 to 11 October,  is situated right outside Plaza Singapura for shoppers to try their luck at earning up to 1,000 yuu points, simply by singing along to the celebratory tune.

“To kick off the celebrations, we’re inviting our members to sing for a chance to earn up to 1,000 yuu points that will allow them to enjoy exclusive Rewards at our partners during our first year anniversary,” said Jacky Mak, brand marketing director at minden.ai.

The concept also aims to reinforce value-seeking behaviour and affirm its customers that yuu will always put them first, with offers and rewards that members can check out before they hit the stores, it said in a statement.

“We also look forward to cultivating an ecosystem of value-conscious and savvy shoppers that will tap on the attractive offers and rewards available on the yuu App,” Mak added.

As part of the celebrations, yuu has also expanded with the addition of three new partners: foodpanda, Great Eastern and Gojek, bringing to life its tagline “More Places. More Rewards. Faster.”.

“By joining the yuu Rewards Club, we can jointly offer customers more value for their money – making their experience even better than before,” said Lawrence Wen, CEO of foodpanda Singapore.

yuu Points can now be earned on foodpanda transactions made at over 20,000 restaurants and merchants in Singapore. Aside from earning points through daily purchases, members can also earn from big-ticket insurance purchases.

“This partnership allows us to provide greater value to yuu members where they would enjoy the dual benefits of additional loyalty perks whilst they secure coverage with our range of lifestyle protection plans,” said Jimmy Tong, managing director of general and group insurance, Great Eastern.

Gojek users can also now earn yuu points when paying for their rides using a DBS yuu Credit Card or PAssion POSB Debit Card.

“We are delighted to be working with industry-leading partners to go the extra mile for our customers and passengers,” said Lien Choong Luen, general manager, Gojek Singapore.
