Multi-currency digital wallet YouTrip has launched its first major brand campaign to celebrate Singaporeans' travel aspirations by encouraging them to sing along to save on their next trip.

The campaign features a catchy soundtrack and vibrant visuals that bring the YouTrip brand personality to life.

The video captures the excitement and joy of travel, showcasing how it empowers users to save money and experience seamless transactions on their adventures.

In the video, a traveler goes to different destinations, singing a catchy tune with the lyrics, "you want it, YouTrip it".

The video features three popular destinations such as Japan, which, according to YouTrip, is the most sought-after travel destination by Singaporeans. It also features China which has seen an increase in travel and transaction volume and France which has seen a 42.5% year-on-year increase in luxury spending.

The campaign extends beyond the digital realm with three engaging offine activations at prime locations across the country.

With users above 60 years old being a fast-growing segment for YouTrip, at a 68% year-on-year increment, the offline activations are part of the company’s approach to engaging the more mature demographic that has
become increasingly digital.

By bringing YouTrip to locations where they frequently visit, it allows users
to experience the ease and convenience of setting up their account anywhere.

The first activation will take place at Suntec City from 13 to 19 May. Subsequently, YouTrip will take over the famous Orchard Road Uncle Chieng’s ice-cream cart between 21 May and 3 June and lastly, at NEX
Serangoon between 3 June and 9 June.

To celebrate the launch, and in anticipation of the upcoming peak travel season, with the June holidays approaching, YouTrip is also giving away a pair of business class round-trip tickets to Japan.

Users simply need to participate in the "You Want It, YouTrip It" social media giveaway by showing how you would 'YouTrip it' via a creative social post or reel on TikTok or Instagram, using the campaign soundtrack. Users can further maximise their winning chances by referring friends and family to YouTrip.

“We're excited to launch our 'You Want It, YouTrip It' campaign as we celebrate Singaporeans’ passion for travel. We understand our users’ desire
to explore the world while maximising travel budgets. Reflecting the spending and travel patterns we observe among our users, YouTrip empowers all to travel smarter, with greater savings and convenience
through our seamless transaction process and competitive foreign exchange rates," said Kelvin Lam, chief operating officer at YouTrip.

"We hope as the jingle becomes an earworm in everyone’s mind, globetrotters are also reminded that their dream destinations are just a tap away. So, if you want it, YouTrip it,” he said.

This comes shortly after YouTrip revealed that it raised US$50 million in its Series B fundraising round last year

The new capital will be used to further propel the company’s growth trajectory by investing in more technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), to deepen product and innovation capabilities, it said last year.
