Vistar Media expands APAC support with 2 new Singapore appointments

 Global provider of programmatic technology for digital out-of-home Vistar Media, has announced a string of new hires with across its Australia and Singapore offices to support its plans for growth in the APAC region.

In Singapore, Nydia Goh has joined Vistar Media as account director and will be responsible for accelerating growth for Vistar Media’s demand-side platform (DSP). Goh was previously the engagement manager at programmatic advertising company, TripleLift, and has eight years of experience working in the AdTech industry in a statement by the company.

Also joining the Singapore team is Kheng Hian Ong who has been appointed as manager, supply partnerships for APAC. Kheng will lead supply relations with publishers and programmatic partners based in Southeast Asia. He was most recently helping Facebook's gaming clients in APAC achieve success through marketing and user acquisition strategies at Meta. 

Additionally, Vistar Media has hired a new marketing manager for APAC, Teegan Gardner. She is expected to spearhead the company’s marketing operations, enhance Vistar Media’s position in the region, drive client relationships and revenue growth.

Gardner has previously worked for Are Media, a premium content publisher for women, and QMS Media which is an Australian DOOH company.  She will be directly supporting Managing Director for APAC, Ben Baker.

“Teegan, Nydia and Kheng came to us with extensive knowledge and passion for the out-of-home industry, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome them to our growing team,” said Baker.

He went on to say “When demand grows so does the need for talent, so our team growth further solidifies Vistar Media’s commitment to the advertising market in APAC.”

Recently, in new appointments to support growth in a region, Ogilvy PR has appointed Q Akashah as its new managing director for Malaysia and Singapore. She will be retaining her prior position of executive director for Islamic Marketing for the Southeast Asian region.

As part of Ogilvy’s Singapore and Malaysia integrated leadership team, Akashah will oversee and manage the PR offices across both markets, pursuing innovations in areas such as AI, influencer engagement, creative and content creation, and employee engagement, amongst others.
