Visa names country manager for SG and Brunei

Visa has appointed Kunal Chatterjee (pictured) as country manager for Singapore and Brunei. He was most recently VP, global client management, according to his LinkedIn, during which he led Visa’s global account team for Citibank in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.Chatterjee will report to Mandy Lamb, Visa’s group country manager, regional Southeast Asia.Chatterjee has spent 10 years with the company, serving in roles including head of business development and business development leader, Singapore and Brunei. Prior to joining Visa, Chatterjee spent a number of years working in banking and finance in a variety of roles at banks in India and in the consulting domain in Asia Pacific markets. According to the press statement, he has in-depth knowledge of payments and a strong understanding of the Singapore business.“I am thrilled to be returning to Visa’s Singapore country team and have the opportunity to lead our operations in the exciting markets of Singapore and Brunei. I am looking forward to growing the talent in our team and working closely with our clients and merchants to introduce new payment innovations that benefit consumers, businesses and the government," he said.“We are excited to welcome Kunal back to the Singapore country team.
