Uni-China Group has appointed Tiffany Chan (pictured) as its new eCommerce head, effective from January 2024. She reports to Agnes Lung, group chief marketing and digital officer, Uni-China Group.

In this newly created role, Chan oversees the development of the eCommerce of Uni-China Group, with a primary focus on the Hong Kong market and supermarket segments.

Meanwhile, she will also need to establish and manage all aspects of the online presence through eCommerce, implementing both Online and OMO (Online-Merge-Offline) business strategies.

Chan brings nearly 10 years of experience in eCommerce and online branding to the new role. Prior to Uni-China Group, Chan had been the senior online business manager of Watsons Hong Kong for nearly five years. Previously, she had also helmed a senior marketing role at HKTVmall.

In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Lung said this role is created to execute the eCommerce strategies for the Hong Kong business and subsidiary supermarket operations, formulate business and marketing plans, foster connection, and drive demand generation.

This role also aims to help the group collaborate with top-level executives to develop innovative marketing strategies, establish corporate objectives, and optimise budget allocation for maximum value.

Lung said Uni-China Group has grown into a multifaceted corporate conglomerate spanning various sectors, including fresh food, market revitalisation, supermarkets, food and beverage, project management, innovative technology, CRM solutions, integrated marketing, asset management, integrated marketing, and intelligent storage services utilising automated robotics technology, among others.

“With the breadth of our business, there are numerous opportunities to enhance growth and drive success,” she added.

Meanwhile, Chan said: "I'm very honoured to take on the new role. With almost 10 years of eCommerce experience, I'm passionate about the industry and hope to apply my professional skills to further drive business growth for Uni-China Group. With its diverse business sectors, I believe my expertise and my innovation will help shape the future of the company and drive endless possibilities."
