U Mobile hands corporate and sustainability comms duties to new agency

Malaysian mobile telecommunications service provider U Mobile has appointed creative agency LOKi to be the agency for its corporate and sustainability communications needs. 

Following this appointment, LOKi will be responsible for the brand's creative development and content creation for communications related to the telco's corporate and sustainability agenda. 

This includes the crafting of impactful messaging that carries the telco's corporate positioning and developing content direction and implementation of its sustainability-focused Instagram account.

"We are pleased to appoint LOKi as our creative agency to support our corporate communications and sustainability efforts. We sought a partner who not only understands our vision but also possesses the creativity and expertise to effectively communicate our initiatives to our varied stakeholders," said Tiffany Chew, head of communications and sustainability at U Mobile.  

"LOKi's proven track record in crafting campaigns that are focused on solutions will certainly be a great support in our efforts towards a sustainable U," she added. 

In addition, LOKi will be responsible for the development of creative themes, images, illustrations and graphics to enhance the disclosures that are included in the company's annual sustainability report. 

LOKi will also support U Mobile on its strategic communications priorities to ensure consistent messaging alignment across all channels.

This appointment comes after U Mobile handed its social media duties to Lion & Lion in April this year. Lion & Lion will be in charge of the telco’s social media presence for its brand and marketing services portfolio.

The partnership will see Lion & Lion rolling out its comprehensive social media strategy and content development plan to enforce U Mobile’s position as Malaysia’s leading 5G network.

With a focus on enhancing network and 5G perception, fostering brand affinity, and bolstering channel growth, Lion & Lion's digital campaigns have begun across U Mobile's social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
