Trip.com has teamed up with charitable organisation Save the Children Hong Kong to inspire children’s creativity and imagination through light and shadow art, with support from Trip.com’s partner teamLab.
Also known as "Illumination and Shadow Adventure", the exhibition aims to provide underprivileged families with the opportunity to explore Hong Kong and immense in the multi-sensory wonderland teamLab Future Park, which is a large-scale immersive space that blends visual art with interactive sensory effects.
The park features an array of interactive art installations that invite visitors to engage and appreciate, capture moments through selfies, and savour the light and shadow creations. Led by Trip.com employees and Save the Children Hong Kong, the event has seen more than 60 parents and children visiting the park.
To help participants explore the combination of art and science, a light and shadow workshop is offered for parents and children to learn how to use light and shadow elements in their handicrafts, showcase and appreciate each other’s work.
The visit to teamlab Future Park marks the second event in partnership with Save the Children Hong Kong, and Trip.com remains committed to providing meaningful lifestyle experiences for the less privileged members of the community. Back in December last year, they invited 66 local families living in Sham Shui Po to visit Ocean Park Hong Kong to provide more opportunities for parent-child interaction during Christmas and healthy development for those children.
