The COVID-19 pandemic might have thrown a wrench into the festive celebrations of Ramadan and Hari Raya. Filmings for festive campaigns have also been impacted, with brands reworking their plans to adhere to social distancing measures. RHB Bank, for example, has created a campaign video using stock images and footages while Grab Malaysia and UNIQLO turned to virtual shoots.

With Ramadan transitioning into Raya, it is once again time to look at the list of Ramadan and Raya advertisements that have caught the attention of Malaysians on YouTube. According to YouTube, the videos represent a spectrum of emotions experienced throughout the days leading up to Aidilfitri.

Meanwhile in a statement to A+M, YouTube's spokesperson said the ads are popular with Malaysians because they represent moments of festive life that are both captivating and relatable, all wrapped in quality production.
