TikTok is on the hunt for an Asia Pacific agency development leader to build C-level relationships and develop innovative and commercially viable partnerships with key global agencies in Asia Pacific based out of Singapore. This comes as former senior director global marketing, Lionel Sim, recently moved to New York to take on the head of global agency role at TikTok.
The individual will also manage complex client relationships and bring a thorough understanding of the overall Asia Pacific business, building strong relationships with the company's highest priority accounts, and expanding its overall industry impact and ecosystem. The individual will work with cross-functional teams to define Asia Pacific market strategies, lead overall agency product enablement and contribute to building a world class team and culture.
Among the list of responsibilities for the role include partnering and driving adoption of TikTok's digital advertising solutions through building strategic partnerships with global agencies in the region; and building and fostering long-term senior relationships with global and regional client decision makers, as well as their agency partners. The appointed individual is also expected to collaborate with regional and local agency teams on key areas such as enterprise technology selling, relationship-building, account strategy and planning, opportunity identification and competitive selling. She or he should also drive thought leadership or strategic thinking by partnering with key internal stakeholders such as legal, sales, marketing and operations to ensure global consistency across global markets.
A LinkedIn job post specified that the individual should have 10 years of Asia Pacific agency development and management experience, as well as experience in digital advertising, enterprise solutions, online media buying and selling processes, and advertising technologies.
Additionally, TikTok is also on the look out for individuals to fill several positions in Southeast Asia. They include B2B marketing manager Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines; SMB marketing manager, Southeast Asia; creative director, Southeast Asia; as well as data analyst and insights manager, Southeast Asia. Separately, former GM of OMD Indonesia, Rahul Divay, was recently appointed as TikTok Indonesia's lead client partner. It also brought on board Cheryl Long as head of communications for Southeast Asia.
