Luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co has named Malaysian actor, model and singer Muhammad Shameer Shauqeen Shaiful Izam, otherwise known as Meerqeen, as its new brand ambassador.
Meerqeen took to Instagram to break the news, where he posted a 15 second clip of him wearing Tiffany & Co’s accessories with a caption tagging the brand. Tiffany & Co responded to his post with a diamond emoji.

According to media reports, the celebrity expressed his excitement on the new collaboration with the luxury jewelry and specialty retailer, by saying that he has been a constant fan of Tiffany’s and that he was honoured to be appointed as its brand ambassador.
While Meerqeen is Tiffany & Co’s first Malaysian brand ambassador, the celebrity is no stranger to the luxury industry. Meerqeen was recently appointed as brand ambassador for Dior after he was seen donning Dior’s eye accessories to promote its Dior Men Summer’24 show that occurred on 23 June.
The news comes just as Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe appoints TAEYONG as its new brand ambassador. “Known for his unique personal style and love of fashion, TAEYONG has been a long-time supporter of LOEWE’s innovative design and craftsmanship,” said a statement on Loewe’s site.
Both Loewe and TAEYONG took to Instagram to celebrate the appointment by posting a photo of TAEYONG donning the brand’s clothing with the caption, “LOEWE and TAEYONG are pleased to announce the start of an exciting journey together.”
The brand’s creative director Jonathan Anderson expressed delight in welcoming TAEYONG to the Loewe family and noted TAEYONG has a special connection to the brand, having admired and worn Loewe pieces for a long time, according to media reports.
