The people behind the work: Shortlist out for Marketing Talent Awards

The shortlist for the first ever edition of the Marketing Talent Awards has officially been revealed. The Marketing Talent Awards was introduced this year to celebrate the people behind the great marketing and advertising campaigns we see across Singapore on a daily basis. Categories were designed to recognise individuals and teams across the industry, as well as the agencies and brands making outstanding efforts to develop an inspiring working environment.

The talents that made the cut across our Rising Star, People / Team, Legend and Company categories were examined and dissected by our completely independent and respected judging panel of senior client-side marketers and industry experts. Creativity and innovation, strategic thinking, excellent execution, successful results and performance formed just some of the core criteria in shortlisting across the 24 categories.

The judges commented that the entries displayed “some really fun and engaging work”, they found them to be “innovative and engaging”, and they showed the talented shortlist to have “lots of initiatives, great ideas and drive.” One of the shortlisted legends was described by the judges as an “Excellent all round leader - I really got a strong sense of a deep strategic mind and creativity in abundance”.
