The North Face and streetwear brand Online Ceramics have joined forces again to launch a new limited-edition summer collection, as part of their commitment to advocating sustainability with new pieces uniquely crafted for adventurers.
Starting 23 June, the collection will be available in Hong Kong exclusively at The North Face concept store K11 Art Mall. It features an assortment of apparel and equipment that is built for life and created for camping and outdoor use such as the first limited release and collaboration of The North Face basecamp box for organised gear storage and transportation, a Polartec blanket that is packable with a soft fleece side, and a brimmer hat for comfort and protection in the outdoors.
According to the release, many of the apparel pieces in this collaboration are sustainably-made with recycled materials, in addition to performance materials used in select pieces in the collection such as water resistant functionality, FlashDry-XD1 materials that offer enhanced moisture management and increased abrasion resistance, and UPF 50+ protection.
The collection also features t-shirts, hoodies and pants with different graphics and messages true to Online Ceramics such as "Forest Hugger", "Star Person" and "Happiness Inside". Consumers can also find accessories, gear and a variety of reimagined designs from Online Ceramics such as “TNF x OC 1995 Polartec Denali”, “TNF X OC Windjammer”. Cropped tee and biker shorts are designed specifically for women, featuring the first TNF x Online Ceramics pieces.

Commenting on the collaboration, David Whetstone, senior design manager of collaborations and special projects at The North Face, said: “When The North Face was founded in 1966, camping was a fringe activity for those looking to escape through the peace and calm of the outdoors. Our summer 2023 collection with Online Ceramics draws on the spirit of this time with an assortment of outdoor hiking and camping products that blend The North Face’s performance DNA and Online Ceramics’ artistic direction.”

Back in 2022, The North Face and Online Ceramics partnered up for the first time to launch products that utilised a new Re-Grind platform, a process that repurposes scraps from factory floors into new and wearable gear.
