The Dubs Agency has appointed Jackie They (pictured) as the general manager of its new Singapore office. In her new role, she will be reporting to Josh Frith, the agency's global managing director.
With her new role, They plans to leverage the agency's intelligence and personal understanding of clients' specific needs in Asia to drive real marketing impact for clients from brand to performance.
Under They's leadership, The Dubs Singapore will focus on harnessing deep financial expertise, insights, and cutting-edge technology to meet the evolving needs of the finance industry. This expansion is aligned with their global strategy to integrate more closely with financial markets across Asia.

Prior to joining The Dubs Agency, They was with Toaster as its head of operations and new business. In the role, she worked on developing operation strategies and leveraging data-driven insights to optimise resource allocation and drive efficiency and profitability.
She also led creative resource planning and allocation as well as project tracking.
Prior to her stint at Toaster, They worked at LinkedIn as its content solutions consultant. There, she developed and delivered customised workshops and solutions to enterprise clients on their LinkedIn marketing strategies and executions. She also partnered with the sales and cross-functional teams on projects and topical narratives that drove client engagement for the marketing solutions business.
In 2019, They also joined Citi as its senior vice president, head of creative production for Asia and EMEA. There, she led campaign production and optimisation across regions, driving digital sales and marketing objectives.
This involved prioritising the value of regional campaigns and devising strategies for implementing offshoring, spoke and hub production models, and automation frameworks as part of the center of excellence.
She has also held roles in companies such as Genero and BBDO as its head of content, a role she held for just over three years.
“They's extensive experience and proven leadership in digital marketing for the financial sector make her the ideal choice to lead our Singapore office," said Frith.
"We are confident that her innovative approach and strategic vision will greatly enhance our offerings and strengthen our presence in Asia," he added.
"I see great opportunities in doing innovative work for financial clients in Asia. The Dubs' data and insights-driven approach brings clients powerful tools, insights and expertise to drive business growth and results," said They when MARKETING-INTERACTIVE reached out.
“The Dubs’ commitment to a data-first approach, blending content, targeted media, and performance marketing, offers a unique value proposition to the financial sector,” They added.
She added that she was excited to leverage her background and passion for digital marketing and recent advances in AI, to drive growth and deliver exceptional results for their clients.
The digital marketing and media agency also has other plans moving forward in the Asia region. Getting a solid base in Singapore is key for The Dubs Agency to establish themselves as a financial marketing specialist in Asia whilst they learn the landscape and nuances of the different Asian markets to better serve the local marketing demands in the future, said the agency to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
As a global network, they are also excited to leverage their first party data and AI innovation to develop new capabilities.
Founded in Australia, the Dubs Agency also has offices in Sydney and London and works with leading financial services institutions including Abrdn, Aviva Investors and Vanguard.
