Ten Square and Plan B media have collaborated on its first dual screen 3D anamorphic campaign for Thai beer brand Singha.

The campaign integrates digital dual screen media placements on Wilkie Edge and Ten Square, with synchronised ads.

The out-of-home (OOH) campaign was to promote Singha's 'Eat with Singha', a two-day pop-up food festival where the public was invited to indulge in curated Thai delicacies paired with Singha beer.

On the Ten Square building, a digital screen showcased a 3D beer can and the campaign's name in 3D yellow font. A giant bottle of beer was also hidden in one of the building's displays and musicians were present to entertain attendees there.

Meanwhile, the digital screen on Wilkie Edge displayed the festival details as well as ads of the products.

“Plan B Media’s debut in Singapore with Plan B OOH heralds an exciting era of immersive advertising experiences, and our partnership with Singha for ‘Eat with Singha’ embodies this innovative approach,” said Genevie Go, general manager of Plan B OOH.

“This marks the beginning of our commitment to redefine OOH advertising in Singapore through our dynamic OOH screens."

3D ads are slowly rising in popularity in Singapore and the APAC region.  Recently, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) launched 3D bus advertisements featuring robotic arms. The arms stuck out of the roof of buses.

The new 3D bus advertisements are part of a new 'School for Innovators' campaign by the school. It is also the most complex of all bus ads to-date that it has done, it said in a statement.

The ad will be seen on a total of six buses, on services 39, 107, 174, 74, 196 and 502. The first set of three buses features two massive robotic arms, which measure 4.2 metres in length and 0.7 metres in height, fitting the roof of the bus, while another pair of robotic arms, fitting a window and the door of the bus.
