Global popstar Taylor Swift is all set to release a documentary film based on her billion-dollar Eras Tour concerts. The film will be screened worldwide in more than 100 countries, of which Malaysia is not a part of.

According to sources from TGV and GSC cinemas, this was due to local movie distributors choosing not to pick up the movie for screening. The next best alternative for Malaysian swifties would be to venture out of the country to Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea or Hong Kong, the Asian countries that have picked up the film.

Swift had initially taken to her social media pages to announce the release of the film, along with which she disclosed a list of over 100 countries where fans can catch it. "Been so excited to tell you all that The Eras Tour concert film is now officially coming to theatres WORLDWIDE on Oct 13!,” she said.

Expectedly, this did not sit well with Malaysian fans of the starlet, especially after Swift chose to skip Malaysia for the Asian leg of the Eras Tour and instead is having a whopping six shows, across the shore, in Singapore. Swift recently wrapped up the American leg of the tour and will resume on the Asian and European segments of her tour towards the tail end of this year.

Tickets for the show are priced at $19.89, which is a nod to her album, 1989, that is set to be re-released later this year on 27 October. In anticipation of the re-release, Swift recently collaborated with Google to create a puzzle for her fans to get them to decode the names of the unreleased tracks on the album.

Titled 'From the Vault', these tracks were originally written for 1989 but did not make the original cut. They will now be included in the re-release.

With Google, Swift created 89 puzzles for her fans to decode. When solved, the puzzles brought fans closer to uncovering the tracks’ names. To do so, fans had to google “Taylor Swift”. After which, a blue vault appeared at the bottom of the results page. Unscrambling the letters on the screen would leave them with a keyword which, when keyed into the Google search bar, would complete the task.

In total, fans collectively solved 33 million puzzles as they hunted for the names of her new track. The response was so overwhelming that at one point, the system crashed.

However, the puzzles were solved in record time and the vault track titles have now been revealed. They are, Is It Over Now?, Now That We Don’t Talk, Say Don’t Go, and Suburban Legends. Fans can also check out the released titles if they simply click on the blue vault again.
