7-Eleven and Sanrio partner up to bring sweetness-filled glass mugs for V-day

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, 7-Eleven has teamed up with Sanrio to unveil a set of four limited-edition collectible double wall glass mugs.

Launching on 1 February in Hong Kong and Macau, the "Love² Double Wall Glass Mugs" series features four Sanrio characters including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi and Little Twin Stars. Fans can enjoy the sweetness of Valentine’s Day with their favourite Sanrio characters and redeem as a gift for their loved ones.

The double wall glass mugs feature detailed and romantic pastel designs. Four designs are available for redemption with each features a different Sanrio character printed on the front, back and lid of the mug. The red design features Hello Kitty and her good friend Tiny Chum together with flowers and bows; the baby pink glass mug is decorated with My Melody, strawberries and daisies; the lavender purple design features mischievous Kuromi playing tricks with her sidekick Baku; whilst the romantic Little Twin Stars’ predominantly pastel pink mug is adorned with shooting stars.

The four glass mugs are made from double wall borosilicate glass, allowing users to touch with their bare hands safely. Furthermore, the mugs have a wide-mouth design and come with a lid. They are ideal for a wide variety of different drinks, soups and even desserts.

7-Eleven has been partnering with Sanrio to launch themed merchandise for years. Recently, they have partnered to present a lucky set of eight leakproof glass containers, celebrating Chinese New Year. The series feature eight Sanrio characters including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Little Twin Stars, Cinnamoroll, Minna no Tābō, Pompompurin and Ahiru no Pekkle.
