Sun Life HK offers free testing and programmes to help combat diabetes

Sun Life Hong Kong has launched a campaign on the subject of diabetes to provide opportunities for participants to join a free blood glucose test and a pre-diabetes management programme.
Partnered with Humansa, the wellness arm of the New World Group, the campaign contains an online questionnaire which helps users understand their risk of getting type two diabetes.
After completing the questionnaire, participants have a chance to receive a free blood glucose test and subsequently, to potentially join a free six-week pre-diabetes management programme.
Aiming to stay relevant to its target audience through providing personalised products, the six-week pre-diabetes management programme is not currently on Humansa's product shelf, but Humansa has tailor-made it for this campaign.
Type two diabetes is the most common type of diabetes, it is a form characterised by high blood sugar, insulin resistance, and relative lack of insulin.
Other than content on its official Facebook page, Sun Life has also partnered with a number of media such as Open Rice, TOPick, HK Economic Times, Healthy D, HK01, and Apple Daily to reach a greater audience.
