Some of the solutions that will be rolled out under this partnership include the Tata Communications GlobalRapide platform, which enables SIA users to connect and collaborate anytime globally.
Tata also shared with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that its Tata Communications IZO SDWAN initiative will provide intelligent customer call routing to SIA's global customer service centres, with the aim of ensuring seamless customer experiences.
It also aims to roll out the Tata Communications MOVE initiative that will enable a global and always connected experience to the Singapore Airlines crew. Its global intelligent cellular connectivity seeks to expedite flight turn-around, performance, and improve cost savings through the swift and secure exchange of critical flight and passenger data.
This partnership comes as SIA partners with more providers to improve its offerings and customer experiences.
In May 2023, SIA announced plans to enter into a joint venture agreement with Garuda Indonesia, in which the two carriers aimed to increase passenger capacity between Singapore and Indonesia, as well as offer customers more travel options between the two countries.
“Our customers will also enjoy even more benefits, including an improved level of network connectivity, enhanced travel convenience, and additional fare options,” said Goh Choon Phong, chief executive officer of SIA, at the time.
