Sentosa has launched its second edition of Sentosa Food Fest, a 10-week long food event available for visitors to experience from 7 July to 17 September.

The second edition centres around the discovery of flavours, with the first signature event, Sentosa GrillFest, featuring a new International Delights zone and introducing a People’s Choice Award which will see winning grill-masters invited to return to Sentosa GrillFest next year.

Visitors can anticipate three trademark events at the Sentosa Food Fest, the Sentosa Grillfest, the Sentosa Restaurant Trail and Sentosa Food Truck Fiesta.

The Sentosa GrillFest will be available for visitors to experience from 7 July to 30 July every Friday to Sunday from 5-10pm at Siloso Beachfront and features over 30 food and beverage establishments, making it the biggest rendition of Sentosa GrillFest to date. The event will feature three special zones, including the International Delights section where visitors can experience new flavours with grilled delicacies from Egypt, Mexico, Taiwan, South Africa and more.

Fan favourites from previous Sentosa GrillFest installments such as dry aged beef cubes from Dryed Aged Meats and Needs (DAMN), pulled beef cheek rendang burger from Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa will also be brought back. Visitors can also savor the grilled dishes which are served by grill masters at Grill By The Beach.

The Sentosa Restaurant Trail will be available from 14 August to 25 August every Monday to Friday with timings dependent on respective operating hours. Visitors can explore a variety of flavours present in multiple dishes from participating restaurants such as Native Kitchen at Village Hotel Sentosa, The Cliff at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa, Tipsy Unicorn Beach Club and more.

Lastly, building on the food truck concept from 2022, this year’s Sentosa Food Truck Fiesta will be larger in scale and menu mix. Featuring specially fabricated food trucks, the event will see a gathering of budding and seasoned culinary talents who will showcase their interpretation of local and street food. This will be a colourful event that is curated to tantalise taste buds, amid the convivial festivity of music, movie screenings, and an artisanal flea market.

Apart from the Sentosa Food Fest, a lineup of fringe events have been curated for visitors from July to September which includes Bollywood Beach Sundown Fest as well as the Sentosa Grand Prix Season Singapore Party.

The news comes shortly after Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) picked integrated communications firm WE communications as its strategic communications partner, according to a statement by the agency.

The partnership will roll out communications strategies aimed at increasing engagement and emotional connections with locals and tourists to build on Sentosa’s new brand promise: “Where discovery never ends.” The other key focus will be on boosting the island’s sustainable tourism through the Sentosa-Brani Master Plan, including the upcoming launch of Sentosa Sensoryscape.
