As the sponsor of the recent “100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS Tour (Hong Kong)" exhibition organised by AllRightsReserved and Fujiko Pro., Samsung Hong Kong has recreated a Doraemon-themed song originally performed by local singer Hins Cheung.

As part of its new “Galaxy AI 「心中一想就得到」” campaign, Samsung is calling Galaxy AI to empower users to bring their imaginations to life instantly through the Galaxy Z Flip6. This aims to align with how Doraemon shapes the future with innovation and intelligence.

Running from June until August, the campaign has recreated Cheung’s 2014 song “青春常駐”. Given that one lyric from the song states “叮噹可否不要老 伴我長高”, the recreated song is performed by Cheung and Gian (技安), the character known for his ambition to be the "King of pop music". The song promotes the features of the Galaxy AI and Galaxy Z Flip6, while also providing another kind of vibe with the collective memory of the original lyric.

The campaign is done in collaboration with local creative agency NoTwo HK, media agency Starcom, and PR agency Best Crew.

The video is being promoted across online platforms as well as through Samsung Hong Kong's retail channel partners, such as Fortress and Broadway stores. The Instagram post has received over 25k likes and 300 comments, a check by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE saw.

As part of the campaign, Samsung has launched a series of Galaxy AI “100% Gadget Classroom” (《100%法寶教室》) videos. They feature the Galaxy AI's functions, including creative photo editing, real-time two-way translation, and organising long-winded speeches.

Apart from that, Samsung has collaborated with the "100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS" Tour (Hong Kong) to roll out the Doraemon special edition for Galaxy Z Flip6 exclusively in Hong Kong with a limited amount of 800 sets.

Don't miss: Samsung HK embraces Cantonese culture with new campaign

Back in May, Samsung Hong Kong partnered with NoTwo to launch a campaign called “Cantonese Culture Festival” (廣東話文化節) to embrace the Cantonese culture of Hongkongers.

It came along with Samsung's plan to expand its three new languages for Galaxy AI through language pack downloads, including Cantonese. As part of the campaign, a promotional video was released featuring Dennis Kwok, also known as 193, a member of the local boyband ERROR as Samsung's Cantonese AI ambassador.

In the video, Kwok showcases Galaxy AI's Cantonese language support by assisting an English-speaking tourist in finding directions to a museum and helping a non-Cantonese-speaking maid understand her employer's instructions.
