Saatchi & Saatchi HK takes home top agency prize at MARKies HK Awards 2023

Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong has won total 15 trophies, including six golds, five silvers, two bronzes, and even two Best of Show awards – Campaign and Agency at the MARKies Awards Hong Kong 2023, building on their reputation for delivering experimental and innovative campaigns that drive business results for their clients.
"Devising the most innovative campaigns for clients is crucial in today's challenging landscape, especially following the pandemic. We have to maintain our position upfront by pushing the boundaries on creativity and offering all-encompassing creative solutions to all brands - incorporating the technology, focused advertising and robust PR," said Alexis Chiu, group managing director of Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong.

One of Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong's innovative campaigns is HSBC’s Open to Art platform, done in collaboration with M+. The agency’s goal is to blend digital art, tech and prominent media spaces to turn all of Hong Kong into a canvas, making emerging artforms and culture more accessible to everyone in Hong Kong.
The campaign also brings local artists’ exposure to international and unconventional arena through holding art exhibition at M+ museum and showcasing digital artworks at metaverse gallery.
Another example of Saatchi & Saatchi's experimental spirit is the HSBC Duoverse campaign – a first-ever physical X metaverse music show with Hong Kong’s leading artists. The campaign focused on promoting HSBC's mobile banking app that seamlessly blended the physical and digital worlds with edutaining content, teasers that created hype, concert posters, activations and more. There are over 1,000 attendees joining the physical concert and over 10,000 participants joining the live online which is a first-ever record-breaking scale, making HSBC the talk of the town in both online and offline.
Saatchi & Saatchi has demonstrated its dedication to supporting the city during the pandemic period through innovative digital and creative solutions. As part of New World Development's Share For Good campaign, the agency developed the first of its kind online matchmaking platform for resources, enabling NGOs to communicate their needs to make it easier for corporations and individuals to support. After the pandemic, the platform continued to launch additional programmes to drive support in Hong Kong, securing long-term commitments from corporate partners across different industries to ensure its sustainability for the future.
Saatchi & Saatchi's success in creating campaigns that drive business results while also being creative and talkability has earned the agency the Best of Show – Agency award at the MARKies 2023.
