Regal Hotels International has revamped all 17 websites of its subsidiary hotels as part of its ongoing plan to transform and innovate the brand.
In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Philip Chau, vice president, group head of marketing, Regal Hotels International said the websites are designed with simplicity and visual impact in mind. "Today’s customers look for an enjoyable journey that is easy and quick. Therefore our approach leveraged a lot of visually stunning images, simple text, and graphical icons and elements," he added.
The homepages the websites for Regala Hotel and iclub feature the city skyline with a strong local Hong Kong element, a check by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE saw. Chau said this resonates with the Regal brand’s Hong Kong legacy. "Each brand is also designed slightly differently to represent its personality. The Regal and Regala websites are a bit classier and more sophisticated. The iclub brand websites are a bit more modern and vibrant," he added.
Commenting on the revamp, Chau said: “It is truly exciting to see the launch of our new websites. With a total of 17 websites, it is certainly no small task and is the product of hard work by the team. It is a carefully planned approach, to display a visual and impactful first impression, and at the same time showcase a very Hong Kong element that represents our brand’s legacy."
