Qatar Airways (QA) has appointed Golin Hong Kong to handle its regional PR duties.

The three-year partnership will see Golin Hong Kong coordinating with QA to increase brand awareness and uplift brand perception for the airline. Its goal will be to enhance QA's reputation as a global yet premium carrier of choice among Hong Kong travellers.

"With the continuous expansion, we were looking for an agency who is capable of meeting our high expectations on PR strategy, campaigns, and results. Golin has demonstrated a strong understanding of our ambitions, we look forward to the continued synergy with the Golin team," said Stephen Chung, commercial manager of Qatar Airways Hong Kong and Taiwan.

This agreement is an extension of the existing partnership between the agency network and QA across the greater region. In China, Golin has worked with QA since June 2017.

“Our destination team has been supporting Qatar Airways in China for the last two years to great success. Now, working as one seamless team between Hong Kong and China, we will ensure consistency of experience and reputation for Qatar Airways in both markets," commented Jane Morgan, managing director of Golin Hong Kong.
