Shanghai-based creative agency PUSH has opened in Sydney, Australia.
It's the fourth studio opening for the agency, which has previously expanded to Tokyo and Oslo in addition to its headquarters in Shanghai since launching in 2014. In that time, PUSH has worked with a substantial client roster that includes Nike, Adidas, and Tencent. In collaboration with 88rising, PUSH produced the release of Chinese superstar Jackson Wang's Pretty Please, which brought in over 10 million views in the first week.
Opening in Sydney is a logical next step for the agency as it continues to grow in the APAC market as well as globally, but it's also a personal one for Australian co-founder, Jonathon Lim.
"For us as a business, Australia has such close links to Asia, it was important to complete this triangle of Shanghai, Tokyo and finally Sydney," said Lim.
"As activations are not currently possible, we see the opportunity for brands to make more content to engage their consumers with unique stories. On a personal level, there’s something about making work in your home country that feels more real and more gratifying than doing it abroad."
