PRecious Communications has reinforced its regional presence with several appointments, including Paolo Alba (pictured) as regional vice president, in addition to his role as country lead for the Philippines.

In his new role, Alba will leverage his deep understanding of the Philippines and Southeast Asia's evolving business landscapes to establish more opportunities for growth and collaboration across the regional network especially for brands in the wider innovation, fast-growth and startup ecosystem, according to a release.

During his tenure as the agency's country lead for the Philippines, PRecious has experienced significant expansion in the Philippines, achieving 2.5x growth within just two years, the release said.

Alba brings over 14 years of experience in brand strategy and reputation management. Before joining PRecious, he held key leadership positions at Fleishman-Hillard and Ogilvy Manila, where he was instrumental in executing award-winning campaigns for healthcare and financial services brands.

As part of the appointments, Joey Gan has been appointed as regional vice president for integrated marketing communications alongside her role as country lead for Malaysia, and Anuroopa Pereira has been tapped as regional senior director for technology-focused clients.

Gan's expertise in crafting compelling narratives and building strong relationships with key stakeholders will be instrumental in expanding PRecious' reach and delivering exceptional client outcomes within the region beyond pure-play public relations remits.

Previously with RAPR Mileage Communications and Ogilvy Malaysia, Gan brings 20 years of experience working with clients across technology, automotive, healthcare, and lifestyle sectors. Meanwhile, Pereira is a seasoned communications specialist with expertise in technology and media relations.

"These strategic appointments reflect PRecious' unwavering commitment to delivering strategic and results-driven integrated communications solutions that drive business growth for our clients across Southeast Asia and beyond," said PRecious group CEO and founder Lars Voedisch. "We are confident that their leadership will further solidify PRecious' position as a leading force in the region as the public relations industry transitions to a more integrated marketing and consulting approach."

PRecious Communications operates across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. In 2019, it became Southeast Asia's representative in the GlobalCom PR Network, a group of 80 independent PR agencies in over 100 countries. Late last year, Radityo Prabowo was named its new country manager for Indonesia, reporting to Voedisch.
