Porsche picks Golin Singapore for regional communications duties

Porsche Asia Pacific has appointed Golin Singapore as its regional agency partner overseeing integrated communications covering corporate communications, social media and influencer marketing.Effective June 2019, the appointment marks the first time Porsche Asia Pacific and Porsche Singapore have consolidated communications duties supporting the public relations, marketing, and after sales teams within a single agency. The regional mandate supports Porsche Asia Pacific’s 13 markets, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia, French Polynesia, Mongolia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.Arthur Willmann, managing director of Porsche Asia Pacific, said, “With Golin’s track record over the years, we trust that the team is best placed to tell our story effectively as we continue to meet the rapidly changing demands and preferences of our customers in the region.”The working relationship between Porsche and Golin started in 2017 with the campaign “Courage Changes Everything”. Last year, the agency also involved in the celebration of Porsche’s 70th anniversary. Moving forward, it will gear up for the milestone launch of the Taycan, Porche’s first all-electric model.Golin’s Singapore and Southeast Asia managing director Tarun Deo said the agency’s integrated and progressive approach to public relations has proven effective in delivering stronger, measurable business results for its clients globally and in the region. “We look forward to putting this approach to good practice with Porsche and all its partner agencies across Asia Pacific, as the brand works towards reaching new audiences and breaking new grounds in the automotive space,” he added.
