To celebrate the 100th store opening in Hong Kong, Pizza Hut will hold a scavenger hunt to give away 100 sets delicious My Box , aiming to introduce the brand’s first Grab & Go Express concept.
In view of the needs of time-challenged Hongkongers, Pizza Hut has launched a brand’s first-ever Grab & Go Express concept store at Science Park, aiming to provide a faster and more convenient takeaway experience with online advance app order.
It also provides more than 10 varieties of conveniently packaged Meal for One for customers’ daily different needs for pizza, pasta, rice and protein.
“Riding on the idea of 100th store opening, we create a one-day scavenger hunt game at Science Park for mass awareness in a fun and interactive O2O approach,” Pizza Hut told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.
Taking place on 19 April, residents near Science Park, workers and park visitors are invited to take part in this gaming experience.
As a marketing stunt and a PR activity for driving public awareness, the hunt also aims to provide a faster and more convenient takeaway experience for hungry and time-challenged Hongkongers. The initiative is done in collaboration with local agency Rubison Marketing Solutions.
On that day, the Pizza Hut team will hide clues at various locations around the Science Park. Participants who successfully find the clues can redeem their free My Box at the new Science Park Express store.
Customers can pay close attention to the treasure hunt clues that Pizza Hut will post on its social platforms in the lead-up to the fun and immersive food discovery journey.
Pizza Hut’s new Grab & Go Express concept is perfect for time-challenged Hongkongers still looking to get their fix of delicious Pizza Hut flavours. The Pizza Hut mobile app aims to make it easier than ever before, with customers encouraged to place their orders in advance via the app, before heading to the store to pick up the order when ready.
Don't miss: Pizza Hut HK fosters brand loyalty with new mahjong sets this CNY
Back in January, Pizza Hut Hong Kong unveiled two branded crystal mahjong sets as part of its customer relationship management (CRM) campaign.
Available from 11 January, the campaign featured two crystal mahjong sets with a limited quantity of 800 sets, aiming to engage and reward consumers, especially the Hut Rewards members.
The mahjong sets include “必勝水晶麻雀套裝” (pictured left) and “開運水晶麻雀套裝” (pictured right). The former features the brand's signature red pizza box design and resembles a vibrant "Pizza box", symbolising success and good luck. Meanwhile, the design inspiration for the "開運水晶麻雀套裝" comes from the brand's classic pizza box.
