Danish jewellery maker Pandora has named American actress and singer Ashley Park (pictured) as its newest global brand ambassador.

According to the release, Pandora chose Park based on her distinct personal style shown by her roles and presence across fashion, TV, film and music, including the well-known Netflix shows Emily in Paris, Beef, and the newly launched film Joy Ride.

Under the partnership, Park will join Pandora at global events and grace the pages of media to help inspire creativity, style and individuality – furthering Pandora's worldwide footprint within culture and as a full jewellery house.

The news has also drawn plenty of positive sentiments from netizens on Park's official Instagram, with many congratulating Park for being appointed as the brand's new global ambassador, while some said the brand is lucky to have her shining her beautiful light on pretty jewellery, a check by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE saw.

Commenting on the partnership, Park said: “I remember the first Pandora bracelet I received and cherished from one of my early birthdays. And today, as a storyteller and artist, I am especially drawn to Pandora’s unique commitment to creativity and making each moment and story special with their endless personal styling options.”

“I’m grateful to have the ability to be part of a brand that has a wide breadth of pieces from timeless Lab-Grown Diamonds to meaningful charms, and to be able to bring my own personal take on jewelry and self-expression to Pandora – both for special occasions and every day,” she added.

Most recently, Pandora unveiled the Disney x Pandora The Little Mermaid collection, Journey Beyond the Sea, celebrating the Disney movie, which was launched in theatres from 26 May. The collection captures the essence of friendship and adventure, with designs that bring to life new perspectives of the reimagined classic, championing female empowerment and independence.

Having partnered with Disney for over almost a decade, the new The Little Mermaid collection from Pandora furthers this collaboration and highlights Pandora’s efforts to empower people to express themselves through personalisation, allowing them to reflect who they are.
