Singapore-based real estate enterprise OrangeTee has appointed Jon Tan (pictured) as its new senior vice president, head of brand, digital marketing and communications.

Tan joins the team after spending just under a year as marketing team lead at Far East Organisation where he led the marketing communications strategy for three business units in the business space, residential leasing and overseas marketing in Hong Kong and China.

Prior to that, Tan spent over three years at ERA Singapore as its senior vice president of corporate communications, a role he was promoted to after three years as vice president of corporate communications. There, he led multi-functional teams across the corporate and marketing communications sector. He also handled digital marketing and social media as well as design and video production.

Tan has also worked as country marketing manager for OTT platform HOOQ as well as head of marketing at Premium Automobiles in addition to taking up marketing-related roles in companies and organisations such as Sport Singapore and Innoform Media.

In his new role, Tan will leverage his extensive experience in digital marketing and communications to drive OrangeTee's growth by developing and executing campaigns that will engage and inspire its clients and stakeholders.

"With a keen eye for emerging trends and a deep understanding of the industry landscape, I am dedicated to delivering exceptional results that drive business forward and set new standards for excellence in the real estate industry," Tan said in a LinkedIn post regarding his move.

MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out for more information.

Tan's appointment comes amidst a slew of marketing-related appointments in the industry. Recently,  global communications agency Redhill appointed Manisha Seewal as its new president to oversee and enhance the agency's business and operational functions, as the company seeks to accelerate its growth sustainably to become a holistic and integrated communications agency.

Seewal will be based in Singapore but will focus her efforts throughout the Southeast Asia market, she said to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. She will also support the ongoing global expansion efforts in markets such as the USA, UK, Australia and the Middle East. She will be reporting to Redhill's Founder and CEO, Jacob Puthenparambil with the appointment coming into effect immediately.
