Ogilvy promotes Jeremy Webb to vice president and head of content for Asia

Ogilvy has promoted its client group lead for Singapore, Jeremy Webb (pictured left), to the position of vice president and head of content for Asia after 12 years spent in the agency helming various roles, according to a LinkedIn post by Webb.
A seasoned marketer, Webb started his career at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide as an editor in 2009. He was soon promoted to the role of digital influence strategist, a role which he held for just over three years.

Following that, he was promoted to national director of social at Ogilvy. He held this role for a year and a half before being promoted to vice president of Ogilvy and then senior vice president.
Webb moved on to the role of vice president, experience for Southeast Asia in 2019 and was moved up to be the agency's client group lead for Ogilvy Singapore. After just under two years in the role, he was promoted to his current role, of vice president and head of content for Asia.

The news comes shortly after Ogilvy PR appointed Q Akashah as its new managing director for Malaysia and Singapore earlier this year.
She will be retaining her prior position of executive director for Islamic Marketing for the Southeast Asian region.
As part of Ogilvy’s Singapore and Malaysia integrated leadership team, Akashah will oversee and manage the PR offices across both markets, pursuing innovations in areas such as AI, influencer engagement, creative and content creation, and employee engagement, amongst others.
In her new role, Akashah will continue to report to Emily Poon, president of Ogilvy PR APAC as well as Kunal Jeswani, group CEO, Ogilvy Singapore and Malaysia, to build on Ogilvy PR's continued success in Singapore and Malaysia, and further the growth of PR and influence offerings as part of integrated client solutions.
