Ogilvy names Krishnan Menon new president of experience for Asia

Ogilvy has appointed Krishnan Menon (pictured) as its new president of experience for Ogilvy in Asia. He will work closely with Genevieve Tan, general manager of Ogilvy’s marketing technology arm Verticurl in APAC, to drive Ogilvy’s ambitious experience growth agenda in 2023 and beyond.
In his new role, Menon is tasked to bring together Ogilvy’s capabilities across customer engagement, commerce, CRM and loyalty, new realities and digital innovation into a cohesive, end-to-end experience offering.
This isn't Menon's first stint with the company having worked as early as 1997 with the firm. Menon worked with Ogilvy at the start of his career until 2007 across various roles culminating as the head of Ogilvy action in South India.

With over two decades of client-facing experience within the WPP network, Menon helped some of the biggest brands transform their customer engagement approach and use data to build customer-centric experiences. He most recently served as chief client officer for Merkle and dentsu CXM APAC, in which he was tasked with nurturing and growing client relationships with a focus on helpingbrands deliver customer experiences. Prior to dentsu, Menon spent more than a decade with Wunderman and then as chief client and growth officer for Wunderman Thompson APAC.

Meanwhile, Sheilen Rathod, who headed experience in Asia since 2020, will transition into a new position as chief growth officer, Asia. In this newly created role, he will focus on strategic growth initiatives across the region and initially focus on several China-specific projects.
