NTV7 and radio Media Prima chief executive officer Seelan Paul (pictured) has stepped down after 19 years in the company.
In a conversation with A+M Malaysia, Seelan said that he was "blessed" to be able to work with "talented bunch of creative people" in both his time in radio and TV at Media Prima.
"It feels like Anfield, Liverpool, for me where we never do walk alone at work," said Seelan.

Following his departure, Seelan will be taking a short break. During which, he wishes to reach out to professionals from the younger generation and have conversations on leadership, management and self-development, he said.
He will also be seeking knowledge through short courses online focusing on artificial intelligence and content.
"I hope to be able to lead the young minds of Malaysia at corporate and national levels. I am tech curious so I wish to continue learning or be exposed to as much as I can on the next big wave in the world," said Seelan.
During his time at Media Prima, Seelan led the radio team to deliver significant profits and made innovations in the industry such as launching audio programmatic buys, making social media a key part of daily radio and building digital communities which are subsets of the radio brands, he said.
He also guided the team to produce the first AI video content to be aired on national TV in Malaysia.
"In summary, I would say my biggest contribution is that I encourage change and innovation by working closely with my colleagues apart from executing great daily operations," said Seelan.
"It was truly a joy when everyone has similar purpose for the company."
Seelan started his career at Media Prima 19 years ago to help start the company's radio business. He launched Hot FM, managed Fly FM and expanded the business to include One FM and Kool FM.
While his journey primarily revolved around radio, Seelan also had the opportunity to do two tours of duty with Media Prima TV.
Outside of Media Prima, Seelan is a visiting lecturer and industry advisor for the Management and Science University in Malaysia.
