Nissin Foods HK launches free bus rides as part of 65th anniversary campaign

Nissin Foods Hong Kong is introducing a citywide series of celebratory activities as part of its 65th anniversary, including a free bus ride on instant noodle-themed Kowloon Motor on Bus Route 8 on 25 August. As part of the initiative, some buses will be adorned with a colourful and eye-catching thematic display, while others will be embellished with seatback stickers presenting the story of instant noodles, from inception to the product fans know and love.

As part of the campaign, Nissin Foods Hong Kong is also holding giveaways at CUPNOODLES MUSEUM Hong Kong. From 25 August 2023 until 29 August 2023, the museum will feature a life-size Chicken Ramen Hiyoko-chan display. During the period, Ching Chai, a brand ambassador for the noodle brand will also make surprise appearances.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Nissin Foods, together with its subsidiaries, has signed a Capital Transfer Agreement with Nissin Foods Asia with the group agreeing to purchase the Nissin Foods Vietnam at approximately US$9.5 million, and contribute US$2.0 million to the capital of Nissin Vietnam. Nissin Vietnam manufactures and distributes instant noodles, and imports and exports instant noodles and other food products. It has also been manufacturing bag-type noodle products for Nissin Foods.
