NETS picks FALCON for social media duties

Singapore e-payments provider NETS has appointed FALCON as its social media agency following a closed-door pitch. The appointment is for a period of 12 months which will see FALCON managing NETS’ social media channels and content, including campaigns and media buying. Marketing has reached out for additional information.
Pamela Tan, NETS’ chief marketing officer said it chose to partner with FALCON as it is a young vibrant company that understood NETS' offerings and target market. "The team demonstrated strategic, data-driven thinking in addition to passion, creativity and digital expertise. We are very excited to work with FALCON to bring our digital plans to life," Tan added.

Founded in 2014 as a digital performance swat team for a portfolio of eCommerce and tech startups, FALCON is a full-service digital performance agency with a roster of clients that include HBO Asia, M1, Canon, Pizza Hut, Standard Chartered Bank, Qantas, Motul and PaperOne. Earlier this year in February, the agency was appointed by Verita Healthcare Group for performance marketing duties. The duties cover Verita's global network of clinics, which includes clinics in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, New Delhi, and Moscow, and the appointment is for 12 to 18 months, aimed to build and train Verita’s in-house performance team.
Meanwhile in January, NETS launched its new brand campaign – #NETSTakeOnMe – to reflect its first ever brand refresh since inception in 1985. According to the company, the new NETS reflects a “strong, progressive and dynamic brand” that hopes to showcase a holistic, seamless and simple brand experience. The campaign included a launch promotion on its social media, website and a series of new brand ads across various advertising channels. The brand refresh comes as NETS celebrates its 35th anniversary and according to the company then, more initiatives, new products and market launches are in the pipeline for the year.
