Moroccan coffee chain Bacha Coffee opens first Hong Kong store as part of APAC expansion

Moroccan coffee chain and retailer Bacha Coffee has entered the Hong Kong market with a 200 square meter boutique and takeaway store. This is the brand’s second entry into an Asian market after Singapore.
Located at IFC in Central, the new store offers over 200 coffees and an array of signature croissants with sweet or savory fillings. It also has a retail corner for patrons wishing to bring Bacha Coffee's products home or to pick up gifts for their families and friends.

With its inlaid black and white chequered tiles, intricate carved wood and antique mirrors, the space is redolent of the Arabic sophistication of the brand's birthplace, it said in an announcement on its site. The new store also has skylight-inspired lighting thta will bathe the location in radiant light, aimed at creating a seamless blend of modernity and tradition.

Founded in Marrakech in 1910, Bacha Coffee specialises in 100% Arabica coffees, providing customers with a unique opportunity to travel the world through their cup by exploring harvests from over 35 coffee producing countries.
Back in 2019, Bacha Coffee chose Singapore as its first place for expansion into Asia. According to its website, there are currently nine Bacha Coffee boutiques in Singapore. Meanwhile, apart from Singapore and Hong Kong, the brand also owns stores in Morocco and France.
