Meikarta revamps logo for 2020 plans

Indonesian property development Meikarta has introduced a company logo in the form of a capital letter 'M', combined with triangular shapes in red, orange and gold, against a white background.

According to Jakarta Globe, Lilies Surjono, the chief marketing officer of Mahkota Sentosa Utama reportedly said the new logo is meant to symbolise "a new spirit and optimism" for Meikarta's 2020 project and the company's determination to make Meikarta "the most beautiful city in Indonesia".  Surjono added that Meikarta would continue to advertise the project in electronic and print media.

Citing Surjono, it reported that Meikarta's advertising efforts in the past was focused on "delivering the promised apartment units", but the team will soon start an ad campaign which will revolve around the theme of "an endless passion for creating a beautiful city for Indonesia". Meanwhile new management will be made up of senior figures from the property industry, as well as people from various industries such as media, fintech, and FMCG. The article added that the new management team will include Surjono, along with chief financial officer Indryanarum Martowidjojo, chief commercial and technology officer Arie Hartanto, chief development and construction officer Huang Chung Hsiun, and Henry Riady as Lippo Cikarang's advisor.

According to a press release from 2017 by Lippo who oversees the project, Meikarta is a development project which aims to build a new international city. The total project value was project to exceed IDR278 trillion, stated the press release by Lippo . Meikarta will be located in the Greater Jakarta-Bandung corridor, and is hoped to be part of Jakarta’s solution for traffic, congestion and other social pressure.
