McDonald's Singapore is inviting its consumers to strike a pose for a free ice-cream cone as it celebrates the return of its Hershey’s chocolate-themed desserts.
In a campaign that aims to bid goodbye to vanilla days, consumers must form and hold the shape of a letter from the word “Hershey’s” in front of a digital board until the screen fills with decadent Hershey’s ice-cream.

“Feeling vanilla? Hershey’s is back to turn vanilla days into an unforgettable chocolatey experience,” said McDonald’s Singapore in a post on social media.
“Two years ago, you guys screamed for Hershey’s. This year, get ready to pose like Hershey’s,” added the brand.
The campaign will run from 28 to 29 May at Funan Mall from 11.30AM to 2.30PM on both days.

Two years ago, McDonald’s Singapore launched an interactive digital board at Funan Mall that saw consumers screaming at the top of their lungs to get a free Hershey’s ice cream cone.
The digital board utilised sound technology to react to the decibels in a scream, turning a plain vanilla cone into a Hershey’s chocolate one. The free ice cream activation ran from August 29th to August 31st at Funan Mall in Singapore and provided 1200 free ice creams to literal screaming fans.
More recently, McDonald’s Singapore, which is truly all about creating buzzworthy activations for its consumers, recently launched a vending machine that dispenses its new Yakiniku Burger ahead of the burger’s official launch in stores nationwide.
On 24 April, fans lined up to get their hands on a free beef or crispy chicken burger with a savoury yakiniku sauce, caramelised onions and shredded white cabbage at Plaza Singapura.
