Marketers, here's your 2023 SG salary guide across industries

Despite the economic uncertainties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, 74% of employees across industries, age groups, markets and seniority levels plan to look for new career prospects this year. At the same time, it was noted that salary was still the top motivator that influenced where a candidate decides where to work, according to Page Executive and Page Insights new 2023 salary guide.
As a result, the survey noted that companies should consider reviewing the salaries of their employees and developing non-monetary strategies to improve talent retention. It added that the overall year-on-year inflation rate is at 5%.
True enough, with the economic instability and inflation, employees are more concerned about salary than ever before, a point that was noted by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong at this year's Budget. In his speech, Wong pointed out that while economists are not expecting a global recession this year, Singapore's economic growth, while positive, will slow at 0.5% to 2.5% this year.
With these concerns, Page Executive and Page Insights took a look at what you should be earning in 2023 as a sales and marketing professional in Singapore.
