Before moving to The Walt Disney Company, Kee was the regional agency partner in the Southeast Asian region at Facebook and was also a part of the tech company’s pioneer landing team. He held this role from 2014 to 2017.
During his time at Facebook, as gleaned from his LinkedIn profile, he developed and implemented an agency strategic partnership which maximised year-on-year revenue, established new relationships and manage existing relationships with key holding media agencies by demonstrating the value of Facebook products, developed in-market thought leadership through executing key events with industry roundtables and collaborated with internal regional leadership to help set up Facebook Malaysia office and navigating strategic, financial and operating targets.
Kee moved to Facebook from Yahoo, where he double hatted the roles of country head for Malaysia and sales director for Singapore and Malaysia. He stayed at Yahoo from 2011 to 2014, where he built long terms strategic partnerships with communities, clients and agencies while officially representing Yahoo externally in industry events to ensure thought leadership and product relevance.

Hotels have been more proactive in their marketing offerings especially as we come out of the pandemic. Shangri-La recently unveiled its new global campaign called ‘Find Your Shangri-La’ to help guests find their personal moments of joy at the luxury hotel chain.
Developed in partnership with American music video director Dave Meyers, the initial part of the campaign is centred around a whimsical brand film that celebrates Shangri-La's commitment to providing guests with unforgettable experiences. The film has brought to life fanciful characters that represent different guest personas and chronicled how they found their happiness in various Shangri-La properties, showcasing the delightful, personalised hospitality experiences offered at each hotel.
