Marina Bay Sands Singapore has inked a multi-year partnership with Scuderia Ferrari, the Formula 1 team of Italian luxury brand, Ferrari, to bring together the world of motorsport and luxury hospitality for the Singapore night race.

The collaboration promises to offer a suite of activations and exclusive hotel packages that capture the essence of both brands such as having official drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz involved in partnership activations at the integrated resort.

To celebrate the deal, a replica of the SF90 car that raced in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2019 will be on display at the lobby of Hotel Tower 1 at Marina Bay Sands from 11 to 18 September for motorsport fans and visitors.

“We are delighted to welcome Marina Bay Sands to our family of partners,” said Paul Gandolfi, head of partnership development, Scuderia Ferrari.

“Our two brands, united in luxury, ambition and the pursuit of quality and excellence, look forward to developing meaningful and memorable experiences for our fans and customers starting with the hugely popular Singapore night race,” he continued.

Throughout the duration of the night race, the façade of Marina Bay Sands will be illuminated with the vibrant hue of Ferrari red against the backdrop of the city’s skyline from 14 to 17 September.

“We look forward to offering thrilling activations that immerse our visitors in the excitement of this remarkable partnership during the upcoming night race in Singapore,” said Paul Town, CEO, Marina Bay Sands.

As Singapore prepares for the upcoming night race, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has recently appointed local communications consultancy Distilleri as the sole organiser for Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) precinct parties for the second year running.

The appointment will see Distilleri’s brand experience arm, Foray, taking the helm for the second year running, bringing the city to life with a celebration in Singapore that complements the race experience.

Themed ‘Circuit of Festivity’, GPSS 2023 will see 10 days of non-stop race-themed and motorsports celebrations spread across four interconnected locations.
