
Mannings promotes derma products with giveaway campaign

Hong Kong's beauty chain Mannings is giving away 3,000 "total Derma solution kits" each worth over HK$500 to Hongkongers in April, with a brand new skincare bar making its way around town stationed by skincare ambassadors.
On 12 and 13 April, Mannings will set up a "Derma skincare bar" across various districts of Hong Kong including Causeway Bay, Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui and Tuen Mun, where a team of skincare ambassadors conducts a questionnaire on skin health with participants to help them understand if they have sensitive skin, prematurely aging skin, mature skin or damaged skin; which problems their skin type is prone to have; and which derma products suit their needs in order to customise a perfect skin repair and restoration routine.
Consumers will receive one "total Derma solution kit" by simply liking and following Mannings' Facebook or Instagram pages, then complete a questionnaire on their skin health at the booth. Gift pack content will be randomly distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Available while stocks last.
The skincare kit includes hydrating and soothing lotions, anti-aging face masks, repairing serums and more from professional derma labels such as DERMA LAB, PHYSIOGEL, Dermacept, Cetaphil, Avene, Komfymed and Bioderma.

In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, a spokesperson from Mannings said the campaign aims to promote general understanding of the transformative power of derma products. The campaign is done in collaboration with PR agency L Concept Communications. The campaign will be amplified via print and online media.
“Mannings, the largest health and beauty chain in Hong Kong, owns the most extensive retail network of derma products in town. We are fully geared to help those with sensitive skin, prematurely aging skin, mature skin or damaged skin to navigate seasonal skin problems, minimise aging signs, as well as offer post-treatment care and professional beauty consultation for your very own customised derma formula, restoring the glowing beauty of your skin," added the spokesperson.

Earlier this year, Mannings launched a meet-and-greet flash event featuring the Mannings cat at 10 stores across Hong Kong. Themed "Gifts worth giving" (送心意 大健事), the campaign aimed to encourage consumers to reward themselves after a year of hard work and express warm gratitude for the care and support they receive from their loved ones.
For five consecutive days, from 15 to 19 January, Mannings unveiled the "Meet, greet and gift with Mannings Cat" (萬寧貓 送心意 大健事 快閃拜年團) flash event, where the fluffy, life-sized Mannings cat will appear at 10 designated Mannings stores for the first time.
