Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) has released its first Hari Raya film, paying tribute to its hardworking staff this festive season.

Throughout the film, various staff of MAG such as cabin crew from various airlines, airport ground crew and customer service staff are seen providing their service to passengers.

This marks the brand's first Hari Raya film. The objective of the film is to recognise the importance of fostering a strong organisational culture and employees’ sense of belonging from the outset, said MAG when MARKETING-INTERACTIVE reached out.

In addition, the demonstrates the company's commitment to MAG staff's well-being and acknowledges the sacrifices they make to ensure operational excellence serving our customers.

Publicly, the film demonstrates the group’s values of empathy, gratitude, and respect for its workforce, thereby enhancing our reputation and building trust with its customers and stakeholders, MAG said in a statement.

By engaging with the public through this culturally relevant content, MAG aims to build trust and credibility while resonating with the diverse communities it serves.

"This brand film pays tribute to our frontline teams and employees who work tirelessly to ensure that our customers get to travel home and reunite with their loved ones safely and seamlessly during the holidays. The film also beautifully captures the essence of our Malaysian hospitality, not only with our customers but amongst ourselves," said Lau Yin May, group chief customer experience officer when A+M reached out.

"Our organisation has built a strong sense of belonging and togetherness where even though we continue to perform our duties and are away from family, we are still able to celebrate Hari Raya with our MAG family.”

The film is available on Malaysia Airlines' social channels including Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok. It will run for a month until 4 May.

This Raya film comes after Malaysia Airlines and Manchester United inked a multi-year partnership. The partnership will see the airline become the football club's official airline.

The partnership was announced by Malaysia Airlines’ group managing director of Malaysia Aviation Group, Izham Ismail, at an industry trade fair in Kuala Lumpur.

To celebrate the announcement, former Manchester United defenders Patrice Evra and Wes Brown flew to Kuala Lumpur to attend the event, to share their experiences of travelling the world as both players and ambassadors for the club.
