Malakoff Malaysia also updated its corporate identity with a new logo which features three fins in a circular pattern to represent the company’s focus on people, the planet and prosperity. The new logo adopts a new vibrant blue colour with the name of the brand in smaller case which is a departure from its previous green-hued logo in upper case letters.

“While the government is in the midst of developing policies that will accelerate our transition to carbon neutrality, we are reliant on the cooperation and inventiveness of all stakeholders,” said Nik Nazmi, minister of natural resources, environment and climate change.

“In this context, Malakoff’s refreshed business direction is an outstanding example of how established players like Malakoff can lead the charge towards enabling a sustainable future with newer and more sustainable energy and environmental solutions,” he further added.

As part of its rebrand, Malakoff has aligned its core business practices with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles. The new practices include minimising its environmental footprint, developing renewable energy solutions and promoting responsible environmental stewardship, according to a statement by the brand.
