Luxury French luxury retailer L'Occitane en Provence has revealed that Aria Mia Loberti will front the brand as its newest global brand ambassador, according to a post by the brand on Instagram.
The actress, who has starred in films such as All the Light We Cannot See and more, is also a writer, scholar and human rights activist, according to L'Occitane en Provence. She is also legally blind and roots her work in extending help to those who struggle with visual impairment.

The brand added that Loberti and L’Occitane share a common philosophy and vision of life, where wellness comes from sensorial experiences, and that all individuals should be able to experience and see the exceptional beauty that nature has to offer.
"We share the same commitment supporting initiatives to combat avoidable blindness and helping those who are already blind or have low vision, including Loberti herself," it said in its Instagram post.
Loberti took to Instagram to share her excitement at the appointment and said that she was honoured to announce her partnership with the cosmetics brand.
"L’Occitane works to cultivate the authenticity and natural beauty within all of us. Their team is extraordinary, and it’s been a delight to create something so meaningful with them. I am so excited to share this with you," she wrote.
Loberti will reportedly kick off her new role with a campaign for the brand's shea butter hand cream.
Loberti's appointment comes as L'Occitane en Provence ramps up its campaigning efforts globally. Recently, the brand unveiled its largest and most thematic pop-up event to date in Singapore, “L’OCCITANE HOTEL” featuring a range of sensory experiences to showcase its popular Almond, Immortelle, and Haircare products.
The pop-up event served as a celebration of L’OCCITANE’s dedication to the environment and showcased its incorporation of natural ingredients and eco-friendliness into its skin, hair and body care products.
